Jovia is a new name, but we've been around for more than 80 years
One day, eight decades ago, a group of school employees met in Valley Stream on Long Island to start a new venture. They agreed to pool their savings to make it easier and less expensive for members to save and borrow money from each other, rather than a bank. Those workers took charge of their future that day. That entrepreneurial spark became Nassau Educators Federal Credit Union or NEFCU for short.
Today, as Jovia Financial, we are a thriving financial institution with more than $3 Billion in assets, 19 branches, and a network of over 55,000 ATMs worldwide.
