At the 2021 Jovia Long Island Marathon post-race FESTIVAL, we will be inviting Running Clubs/ Teams/Groups to set up their team tents. We see this as a great way that athletes/teams can have a place to gather before and after the races. You can also use the tent to help promote your club/team/group and invite people to become members. However, we must establish some very clear rules that need to be followed.
You must complete the form below (click here for forms) and return it via email to RaceAwesome@RaceAwesome.com . You will not be allowed to set up or be allocated a spot for a team tent without completing and returning this form NO LATER THAN 4/19/2021.
Tents must be set up BEFORE May 2nd. Tents can be set up on either April 30th or May 1st. Maximum tent size is 10x10. Your tent must be set up in the location we mark with signage for your team tent. NO TENTS WILL BE ALLOWED TO SET UP ON MARATHON SUNDAY.
Team tents are NOT allowed to sell any merchandise or products. You are allowed to promote your team/club and hand out membership information, etc.
Tents are set up outside the expo tent. Your 10x10 area will be marked. We will help you secure your tent to the grass field and we will have overnight security. We ask that you do not leave any valuables overnight. We will not be held responsible for any missing/damaged items that are left overnight.
Tents can be removed on marathon Sunday after 1pm
